Export Message Thread

I'm wondering if there's a way or option that could be implemented to export all messages in an xml format and be used in titanium backup to get messages back.

Almost use mightytext as a safe net for a constant backup.

OR just create a messaging app using your already established web app...so that messages are always brought in through the cloud.

I would love to be able to use this app as a backup for all of my SMS messages. Either by having a way to export them somehow to be saved on my computer or back-up drive, or even better, by having them remain on this app on my computer.

This should be an easy one. I have a new phone, would be nice to have this before my 6month mighty-text window starts deleting old messages

i might not have been clear enough,
the main think i wanted was a way to have all my sms in MightText, even those which existed before i installed it,
2nd an option to back them up.

    Thanks
